Daniel at the reception was very responsive to emails prior to our arrival. He would immediately respond and truly went above and beyond! The entire staff at the hotel was superb! We had an incredible experience and treated us like royalty. Highly recommend.

I visited with my wife in February which is an off season for tourist, additionally the weather is windy and cold The property is beautifully located in the nature with birds chirping in the morning, and town church bell ringing… It is truly a fairytale experience. Couples should experience the Suite Room only !!! Worth the experience The staff here are super cooperative and wines definite to try at Quinta Da Pacheca… Look forward to visit again some time soon All in all, I’m glad to make a good choice of staying 02 nights at this hotel

Guests at the Lamego can also savour the local cuisine for lunch and dinner. this was THE BEST hotel of our trip in portugal. Amazingly nice staff, beautiful property, and the most delicious breakfast you can imagine. Dinners in the restaurant were excellent too. Great location for exploring Douro Valley as well. We are dreaming of going back!
